This recent batch of Hiwa was really good. Not a lot of headiness but that's to be expected with this cultivar. What was remarkable is the level of anxiety relief and muscle relaxation I experienced shortly after each serving -- truly a gentle medicinal feel. Most impressive was the combination of mental and physical relaxation that made me love kava years ago but has been missing in so many products over the past few years. I rarely get any meaningful pain relief from kava but this one checked that box as well. Highly recommended.
The instant powder mixed easily and consistently with the liquid. Taste was a bit more on the bitter side than some of the other instants but very drinkable and pleasant as far as kava flavor is concerned.
