Bula all! We've been getting some heavy wet snow all morning and it's just finally cooled the ground down enough to turn the ground white as well. I love how the snow gives me something to look at and each flake reflects light, too, making it brighter than if it were just a "Rainy spring day".
I poured hot water on leftover kava roots from last night in my strainer and added a Power Scoop of Fresh Dry Solomon Laterals. Squeezed and kneaded for a few minutes, then squeezed the rest of the lemon I had on my counter from making lemon-Kukicha Twig tea's into the kava. As I haven't developed an appetite for breakfast yet and I have the day off, this kava sure grooves and hits the spot! Wonderful!
At first the thought of putting lemon in my kava kind of sounded off putting because I have made kava in pure lemon juice before and it was kinda awful. But just a little lemon actually is nice - it's like I'm getting the benefits of that fresh squeezed fruit juice in my kava. Love it! Enjoy the day all
