Totally normal. What I figure is GHK delivers the mail in batches to the local post office. So that may mean they hold on to the package until the batch is delivered to the PO. All factored into what we call Island Time™. I give GHK purchases a week.Specifically Minnesota. The e-mail I got said my order has shipped (this was about two days ago), but the USPS tracking code said that it is in "pre-shipment" and is being transferred to a USPS facility. I'm new to the Kava world, would just like an approximation on how long it will take, because I'm really excited to try it
Pre-ship means it has not gotten from GHK to USPS facility yet (i.e. it has not really shipped). Typically ordering from GHK takes 2-3 days to ship and 2-3 days to make it to Eastern US (upstate NY for me) depending on what time of day you order (remember they are 5 hrs behind Minnesota) and holidays. Chris' operation is not large so sometimes he gets backed up, or if you order over Thanksgiving or something it can take a bit longer but you should in most cases get it in less than a week.
