How Long Would a Pound Last?

How long would a pound last if I used it say 1-3 times a week just to get rid of my anxiety. Would I still feel the effects only using 1-3 times a week. Thanks for the help. Also If you have any suggestions for a specific type of kava that would work best for my social anxiety that would be awesome to. (smiley: roll)

I only use it about once a week now. It lasts me about 3.5 months depending on how many times I have a mid-week bowl or not.

Well, when I used to use kava heavily, I pound would last me a month at least. This of course following the ratio of 2 tbsp per cup of water. It will vary based on how strong you like your kava. Don't stress about how long it will last, if you're only going to be using kava 3 times a week max, you'll be fine for a while.

4 to 5 uses. I like 1 cup root to 3-4 cups water.

It would also depend on how much you drink at each time. I think a pound lasts me about 3 weeks when I am using kava heavily, but I often drink it 4 days a week at those times. I don't use it for social anxiety so I can't comment on that, but I feel like it helps me. In terms of a cost benefit anaylsis, for me it's significantly cheaper than OCD meds, has far fewer side effects and gives me control over how much or how often I am taking it. I was a bit hesitant to spend the money up front at first, but I'd obviously recommend it now.
