Texture wise, the powder feels spongy. I used 1c root to 3 cups water with some veggie oil. The taste was very mild, like WoW!. The effects were about equal to black sands. To be fair, I had extra caffeine and food that day so that could of interfered.

Ok, I tried it again. It really taste good, but the effects level are in the Black Sands territory, and you know, I'm hunting for Van3.

Anyone want what I have left? I got 350g I'll let go for $15 + shipping. I take paypal.

ok this stuff (land diver) isn't bad.

the taste is mild like rcoz said, but i could'nt really articulate the tones of the flavors because i mixed it with coffee, which is kinda bitter itself.

the effects are nice, mild also. three shells down and im not tired, or stimulated. just relaxed. Rcoz said it was similar to black sands, but i've never tried that. i'm wondering if more shells will intensify the relaxation or if there is any stimulation waiting to be had, but we will have to see.

tomorrow i am looking forward to mixing it with the hiwa that i just got from HKC. And then i wanna try mixing it with Magic. Maybe both after that. :D

i'll post my results in the "combinations" thread.

I like it though. feeling good. but not GOOOOOD.

oh might i say, i used 10 tablespoons to 4 cups water, so that comes to a little over 2 tablespoons per cup.

rcoz, do you think i should up that ratio? you used  1 cup root to 3 cups water, which is  a little over 5 tablespoons per 1 cup water. (1 cup= 16 tablespoons)

The powder is spongy, I wonder if it's possible to make it in to a fine powder with a coffee grinder.... then use that powder for your measurements.

so if its spongy it takes more to make it? guess that makes sense now that you say it.. not really getting a true tablespoon because the fibers are taking up more room with less kavalactones in them.

don't have a grinder though:(

what about a sifter and just sift the larger fibers out? i wonder if that would help.

yuku.com lost my reply. Anyhow..

Don't discard the fibers, they contain the kavalactones. Instead use N@H's ratio of 1cup root to 2 cups water....but that gets expensive fast.

yeah i should find a grinder though. im thinking that those chunky wooden fibers aren't getting squeezed very well in my opinion. they usually just end up poking out of my nylon :(
