What's new

I just ordered some Kalm with Kava concentrated drink...any feedback?

Kava keeps me going.
It's great! You'd barely know you're drinking kava until the effects creep in. I think there are some reviews in the vendor section under Kalmwithkava
I have to be careful, however, not to drink too much as I'm sensitive to sorbitol and too much gives me a nasty headache and stomach upset. Otherwise is great to sip on throughout the day if necessary

What would you compare the effects to as far as other kava because the extract jars did nothing for me

Hmm. I don't think I can honestly make a comparison to powdered kavas. Particularly as different strains affect people in different ways. For me it feels right down the middle - relaxing but not sedating, relieves regular stress but only puts a mild dent in clinical anxiety. I'm really only a newbie with kava and still finding my way around different varietals and different root to water ratios. Given that people can get different reactions to the same strain, it does get a little tricky to compare. I would definitely say it's mild in comparison to most medium grind kavas but great to sip throughout the day or when you need to stay alert and focused. I suggest getting a sample pack from Kalmwithkava.com. Awesome company! Sorry I can't be of more help!

I'm one of the few who likes the taste!! Try mixing the root with some coconut water or add a touch of powdered ginger root.

Nothing compares to dried root or micro. Unless it's fresh. When I started I was just like you, making fancy cocktails and drinking the foofoos. I got to the point where it just didn't matter anymore. I still knew it was kava behind all the sugary goodness. Went back to water and root only. Haven't looked back. Stick with it and you will be rewarded.

Anyone know if this drink is actually strong enough for a noticeable effect for a regular joe.. I'm looking to sell some kind of kava drink at my restraunt for just regular people looking to wind down... nothing crazy, I've been examining the prices of instant, kava candy and concentrate and concentrate seems to be the best price wise... I do find the kava candies effective so would anyone know what the ratio of OZ to Candy peice is?
