Hi everyone, to give you an idea if how strong this kava is, Deleted User01 said that "Ikiaka" means Heavy but it actually means "strong" I guess the kava made him forget it was strong or the kava made him think it was heavy, either way it is a great kava that I am sure you will all enjoy.
Thanks @Deleted User01 for the great review. Aloha nui loa.

I failed my language course in Hawaiian as a freshman. I guess it shows. :(
Don't worry about it, I still have a hard time saying Humuhumunukunukuapua 3 times fast. That by the way is the name of our state fish.
It's a good thing our state bird is only called Nene, weird ya. (n)
As long as I can say Maikai ka hana o ka 'awa, translates to I work with the best kava or I grow the best kava. Judging by your review of the new Ikaika kava I think I am right. (y)
Aloha.

I know the question was asked and it was, what 3 different Hawaiian varieties I use in this blend. Well @Deleted User01 said it kind of tasted like Hanakapi Ai. I have to say that it has Hanakapi Ai, Mahakea and Hiwa. This is a great combination that took me over 3 months of trying different ratios and sending samples to people to try this is what I came up with and people love it. I personally tried each test sample, I know, I know, it's a hard job, but that's part of my job description, someone has to do it :hungry:, thanks also to all those who sampled this kava for me and sent me there feedback. (y) Enjoy.
Aloha nui loa.

I did not know how many kavasseur's there are out there. I know there is more than just one kavasseur, but after yesterday I say there is hundreds of kavasseurs.
I am sorry to say that I sold out of my Ikaika kava yesterday and I sold over 250 pounds in one day. I am now sold out.
See what I mean, there are so many kavasseurs out there that they bought all of this great kava. Thank you to all the great and TRUE Kavasseur's that are out there. I am proud to say that I have another batch that is almost done drying and should be ready for sale on Monday or Tuesday.
To all the real Kavasseur's out there that bought my kava, please come back to the forums here and leave a review, that would be great.
Thanks again for all your wonderful support and most of all drink kava and enjoy life. (y)
The Ikaika kava will be back very very soon. Aloha nui loa.

Well dang. I saw this on his website about 3 days ago, but was going to wait until next week when I used up the last of my Mo'i. Kinda sad I missed out. I'll keep an eye out for when it comes back.

Kava keeps me going.
I hope this unofficial review makes sense because I’ve just finished off 8oz water to 2 tbsps of Ikaika over a 3 hour period. And when I’d drunk the last drop, this powerful Kava hit me. Square and hard in the brain and bodyI think being as this is a weekday I should have stuck to 4 ozs because now I’m not so sure I should be wielding a knife to prep my dinner. I feel positively drunk and giddy and quite deliriously happy. So it’s not even safe to hop in the car and get takeout! Yowza this Kava definitely lives up to it’s name. I like my wine but I can rarely go beyond two glasses because it hits me hard. Ikaika hit me harder. Good lord I think I have to go lie down for a while. Nice stuff Chris @Gourmet Hawaiian Kava ! Can’t say you didn’t warn us!

11 grams? About 1 tbsp? Yea, I think I need to go lower than 2tbsp. Even in 8ozs water! Must be the hanakapa’ai - that’s the only kava that has ever seriously verged on knocking me out!
