Interesting Side Effect

Kava Curious
So i've been pounding shells now for over a month, and have read in the various posts that a skin condition can happen if too much is consumed. Well, by nature, my hands sweat big time-always have. Of course this is awkward when i'm shaking hands with clients and others, and creates a bit of anxiety. Paper sticks to my hands in meetings and, well, it just sucks.

Now, I've noticed my hands are dried right out, which for me is a godsend. This is a great side effect! (as long as it doesn't start spreading to my face etc...)

Anyone else have this happen?

It has happened for me too.  I honesty think someone should look into kava as a topical ache reducer.  I know my kava squeezing paw is dryer that the non squeezer.  Seriously-someone look into this.

It happens to me but I always fiqured it was because I hand squeeze and make batches up to a gallon at a time and a few a week. I figure that I knead for at least 30 minutes and around 3 times a week so my hands are completely submerged in kava juice at least 90 minutes a week.

I wear rubber gloves when I make kava and my hands are dry. I mean... Death valley dry. Only after I consume kava. It's an action of kava and it being a diuretic.
