Kava and BHT

Aloha All,

Wondering if anyone knows the answer to the following(can’t find anything via search engines). I started taking 250mg of BHT every morning as an anti-aging protocol. One of the caveats is you are not supposed to consume alcohol while on it because it uses the same P450 metabolic pathway in the liver and could cause damage. Would this hold true for cosuming kava also…tia

Ah gotcha. Kava doesn’t interfere with that dehydrogenase. I’m not a doctor, but it doesn’t seem they would interact.
