kava and carbon monoxide (smoke)

Kava Enthusiast
Carbon monoxide increases dopamine secretion in a certain subpopulation of memory-related neurons.

Can smokers of herbs comment whether kava interacts with smoke in a clearly discernible manner.

I do not intend to test it myself because in my experience smoke interacts intensely negatively with memory and well-being when it is method of administration for herbs that increase dopamine signaling such as tobacco and kanna, for example.
