Kava and Exercise

Kava Curious
Has anyone noticed a difference when using kava prior to exercising? This is the second or  third time I noticed a big big difference when riding my stationary bike. I just breezed through my usual workout. Without kava  my thighs are usually burning I guess from the lactic acid , just about every time. With kava I could have going harder and longer without a problem. Also seems to greatly reduce exercise anxieties.
Have not tried it with weight training yet, but it could have the same effect.

Any have any similar experiences? The difference is dramatic.

This forum really pushes kava's uses, amazing stuff!

As for exercising after Kava, I can barely shoot a decent game of 9 Ball, let alone sweat up a storm.

I'd be VERY careful with kava and weights!

If you're going to use kava before you exercise...drink even more water than you normally do. YMMV...but really...drink the water.
Ask me how I know what happens if you don't... (smiley: tired)

You know, I thought I experienced that when doing some weight lifting. Does seem to make it easier.

Kava helps with muscle soreness after lifting some heavy ass weights, I find. But I don't drink it before lifting for the same reason I don't drink it before driving.

I also find that kava helps with the achiness after a heavy work out. If you are going to be lifting heavy or are going to get under a barbell, I wouldn't use kava prior to entering the gym, It sounds like a great way to get hurt.

I should say that I only have one shell before lifting, and I use dumbells. Totally agree that you don't want to get rooted and then lift a 200lb bar over your chest.

I run 5-6 days a week, and occasionally when a day gets away from me I'll go for a short (2-3 mile) run after drinking.  Usually at least an hour's elapsed, but, minus the sloshing

effect, the runs are physically pretty easy.  Exercise's usual mental clarity is sorta diminished however.
