Kava Blends

Kava Curious
In various threads I've noticed mention of different kavas being blended.  This is something I've started doing more of myself lately.  In particular I enjoy the results of blending Hawaiian Kava Center Mahakea (2 parts) and Tudei (1 part).  I've also been pleased with the result of mixing the same ratio mix of Tonga and Tudei.

I believe the Paradise Hawaiian Kava is a blend of different Hawaiian kava varieties as well.  Wonder if that is one reason it's rated so highly.  Different varieties of wine grapes are often blended to enhance the final product.  Other times blending can be less than desirable with Kona coffee being an example that comes to mind.

Interested to see what kava blends my fellow kava enthusiasts like or if you prefer not to blend.

I liked Tongan and SI blended, but those days are over. Goodbye SI kava. Your candle burned out long before, your legend ever did.

I love mixing kavas. I find that chief jungle alone (1 whole cup of root to 3 cups of water) does not even do that much honestly. But recently ive been adding about 4 tbsp into my stone batches and it takes it offff, and it makes the taste very solid and almost refreshing. Stone and wow kava is a great combination. Milder kavas mix well with strong ones (Ive used Fiji1 from KBR in with wow/stone and had great effects). You almost cant go wrong mixing a new kava you havent tried as much with a kava you are familiar with. I also tried mixing Hiwa with stone and got reallly good effects. When I get my paradise kava in and I might try the same.
