Kava Cola

'Kava Cola' (forum member) very kindly sent me a promotional case of the cola yesterday. He didn't ask me to review it, but I thought I'd leave a quick review with my initial impression anyway.
The taste is excellent. It's a very unique taste I think and quite different to store bought cola, it's partly because they don't make it fizzy or very sugary, and partly because of the strong peppery taste of the kava. As someone who isn't a fan of the taste of mud water, this tasted great. I drank 3 bottles in all, and by the end of the 3rd bottle it was beginning to feel very moreish.
As for the effects. I was quite surprised how potent this was for an instant product. It's made with melo melo root powder, and I found the effects very similar to the BKH's melo melo product, i.e not much of a body effect, but very mentally relaxing and calming. It's also quite long lasting. I'd say each bottle would be equal in terms of effects to a pretty strong shell of melo melo root powder.
I'm not sure how cost-effective the cola would be for me in my current financial state, but if I were a bit more flush, I'd be wanting a constant supply of this stuff. It's ideal for any anxiety sufferers because you get to carry a potent shot of kava to work, college or wherever, and it's about as discreet as it gets. It's also perfect for introducing new people to kava, I think. They get something pleasant tasting but potent. I'm meeting a friend tomorrow who's never drank kava and I'm excited to see what he thinks of it, from the perspective of a complete kava noob.

Hey Midas,

So glad you liked the Lava Cola, just to let you know it will be available in 8x bottle packs as well as 20x bottle packs so you can treat yourself now and agin without going overboard cashwise, although unfortunately there is only 50cent difference in the shipping...

You're right about the Cola having more of a head mind effect rather than body buzz, this is as you say because of the Melo Melo strain used in the Cola and just by chance it helps with regards people possibly abusing it and driving after a few too many.

I hhave to admit that the shipping for the Lava Cola is very expensive, especially if you live outside the Republic of Ireland or the UK but once we manage to get it bottled in Europe and get it into shops that problem will become a non issue, for now however it is for those with an ample wallet or just as a treat now and again to give a break from the mud water taste of Root Kava which I must admit I find hard to stomach myself sometimes. I vomited in Vanuatu on more than one occasion ... :(

Also yes it is handy in the 250ml bottle, I take one or two with me whenever I can (usually stashed in my very patient partners handbag). Anyhow, Im just glad you like the Cola, anyone else who wants to read more visit https://www.facebook.com/pages/Lava-Cola-Vanuatu-Kava/508688959179232 or email me at [email protected] or wait a week and a half and visit us at our near ready site www.globalkavaexports.com

Hey KavaCola, thanks again for the samples. I got a couple of my friends to try them over the weekend and they were well received :) It would be amazing if you eventually got this stuff on sale in shops, I think my days of buying coca-cola would be over lol...Looking forward to checking out your site

Thanks mate, it would be a dream come true to get this on the shelves but I fear we have a long way to go yet but judging by the amount of people who are ordering and even reordering again  before the site is even open its a real winner. All I have to do is try and get the shipping prices down...
