kava cough

let me start off by saying that kava does not cause me to cough. my question however has to do with the day following a heavy kava session. does anybody else have the problem the day after when you cough to say clear your throat and you get the bitter taste of kava in the back of your mouth/throat? this usually lasts for me the whole following day.

I hear this from my friends that the kava seems to linger in the back of the throat into the next day. I notice this somewhat as well but I drink kava so often that it doesn't bother me and I don't really notice it much anymore.

thats pretty much how i would describe it though like i said i dont really notice it as much unless i get a good cough in...almost like its lingering in my chest a little
