I see they're getting into the kava drink business. The brand is "Kava King". I may order some and let you guys know the results.

Kava king is actually one of the original products sold in the US with any real strength. Kava King was in fact the first kava I ever had any results from. The original owner went out of business sometime after 08 and was purchased by conaloe products. (Or was originally part of conaloe and shut down, and restarted from them) From people's experiences with the new kava king they have reported less than desired results. A weak product.

I still have an unopened tin. I purchased 36 tins about two or three years ago. I am looking at my Kava King mousepad right now.
They're not bad, but they are flavored micronized (or they may have an unflavored version). They're not an "instant" in the way that Fire Island is instant. Rather, it's really finely ground kava root mixed with a sweetener like fructose, stevia, and/or maltodextrin, and a flavor like chocolate or berry.
I'll probably buy a bag for the cute little tam tam.

I did buy five sacks of the cappuccino flavour. OH GOD, WHY?
I now hate coffee flavour with a passion. The maltodextrin turns the substance into a sticky glob that destroys spoons... and probably teeth. The innovative packaging is innovative, but the actual Cargo within is probably the worse kava I've drunk in ages. I'm trying to power through it as fast as I can so I can return to my usual.
