Kava Curious
I recently moved to day shift from night shift and I realized just how socially anxious I am. I cannot talk to people. I cannot small talk (well, it's very difficult). I can do the "hey, how are ya" part and smile and be happy-looking, but I want to actually be able to talk to people.
Anywho, I've been using kava just to relax for almost a year and I like it, but now that I'm on days I kind of would like something that would make me less socially anxious while still allowing me to adequately perform my job.
M'oi sounds like an excellent idea, but honestly I always get a harsh comedown from it. Not just feeling tired or whatever, but I often end up feeling sad/depressed/anti-social, like grumpy and that I don't want to interact with anyone. That's the opposite of what I'm going for.
What would you guys suggest?
