Kava got stronger?

So the other night I broke the ceiling of kava effects. I have been a regular user of kava for awhile so I don't have a reverse tolerance. But I havnt experienced something that strong in a long time. From any substance. And now I made a batch with just 5 T (my norm is 6) and I am good and krunk and I still have some left. So have any of you had an experience like this? Has kava all of a sudden gotten way stronger for you? I really don't know why this happened and is happening. But I like it. I am taking antibiotics but I don't see how there would be a reaction there.

Also, I had thought maybe my liver was failing so it wasn't properly breaking down the kava lactones but I don't have jaundice or a metallic taste in my mouth or blood in my urine or any other symptom that would point to liver issues.

You still drinking the stone? If so, it's characteristic of stone. If you ate less that day it can increase potency 10 fold. Also stone just has that innate ability to gently carry you to sleep, or put you down with the mightiest of persuasion, as in....the floor looks quite comfortable.

Yes it was the stone. Well at least I know that this is sort of normal haha. It definitely took me off guard.

I'd still worry about mixing kava and antibiotics.

Which is why I rarely, if ever, use antibiotics.

(True story).

are there any reactions that could occur? I have to be on them for like 5 days, that's just too long to not drink kava.

That sounds like a good thing to do.. I may have to head down to Mexico to stock up seeing how the world is due to expire soon...

Actually the antibiotics can interfere with the liver enzyme CYP450 (depending on which antibiotic) and cause a decreased metabolic rate of kavalactones, so it actually may be an effect of the medication. Stone is still a killer kava, but it seems it may not be the only thing at play here.

yea, i find if I don't eat for a long time and have 3 or 4 shells (6tablespoons) I get completely bombed. It's very intense to the point where i have to sit down and grab my bearings...it's great, but probably not good as an 'everyday' type of buzz if i have to function around others.

I had a lot of extract today (about 75% of a 10g jar), over a 1 hour period. By the end, I was having trouble remembering to breath and my speech was a little slurred.
