Kava in tea bags

Kava Tea anyone? Where are the crumpets? Dude must be English. Nothing like sitting there dipping your tea bag and then trying to sip a cup of mud water. You better wash it down with lots of crumpets. You're right Henry, Micronized is so much more convenient and so is instant. I'm in love with both.

Yea, there must be something really special about his bags. I cannot believe that developing a scheme to put milled kava root into tea bags can cost $40k (or 20k in USD). Crazy.

Why won't it work? Maybe the hot water and squeezing the tea bag a few times might suffice . Again, I dont know whether it would or not... just curious .

Well, it could work, I suppose. As hinted by @Deleted User and tested by many of us, using boiling water can result in a very powerful brew. However, the problem is that boiled kava tastes even worse than the regular stuff, it's also very slimy. I guess using kava tea bags could be more convenient than straining and kneading, but using instant or micronized is even more convenient than using kava tea bags and such kavas are undoubtedly easier to drink than hot slime.

But who knows? Maybe he has found a way of preventing kava from turning into thick gravy when it's mixed with boiling water?

Well, kava isn't a solution (in the chemistry sense of the word). Otherwise we wouldn't go through the hassle of kneading the stuff. If you squeezed it a bunch, maybe, but then there's not enough kava in a teabag to really get an effect out of it.
