How does kava get to our hands?

Today’s fact of the day is a rather simple illustration of how kava in Vanuatu transfers from the farmers all the way down to us, the kava drinker. I also suggest giving this article a view, as it’s quite uncomplicated and easier to read than some of the other sources we’ve been looking at for the fact of the day. This paper is from 1999, however it still holds information that remains pertinent today about kava's importance, cultivation, diseases and pests.
