So i thought i would show you guys the types ofd things that i do with spare coconuts. whilst inspecting all of the shells i was selling, i noticed on one, a very small hairline crack. Of course i couldn't sell this! So, i came up with another use for it. I used to to build an instrument that was based off of a hurdy gurdy. For those of you who are unfamiliar with hurdy gurdys, here is what it is. There is a wooden wheel that is just under the string with rosin on it, then there is a crank that you turn which turns the wheel. The result is a continuous drone similar to that of a violin. Then you simply press the keys to change the notes. i know this isnt directly kava related, but i thought some of you music lovers might enjoy it
