It's ridiculous. The government said we can't order by post, despite the border closures, because it would take legislation. They actually said they're to busy for that with Coronavirus, which I am highly sceptical of.
By the way, anyone written to their MP about the kava law in Australia? It's bloody stupid. I'm tempted to give it ago, although I don't hold out too much hope. It is one of those areas where a little common sense would go a long way. There's no valid reason for the current restrictions and you would think it would be easy enough to change them. What holds me back is that I have got a few deliveries in via the post over the last six months, and I'm a little paranoid that a stern letter to my MP and/or the relevant minister might lead to extra scrutiny for anything I import.
