Kava-Straining Muslin Bag

After saving for several decades and remortgaging the house, I finally pulled the trigger on Kalm's muslin straining bag. The eye-watering sum of three whole Dollars will surely haunt my dreams for some time to come, however the bag has performed well and strains more quickly and effectively than the metal tea strainer I used previously.

How does this compare to something like a nylon 'almond milk' bag (it's what i'm using right now)?

How does this compare to something like a nylon 'almond milk' bag (it's what i'm using right now)?

It's very similar but the almond milk bag looks finer. I've had no great problem with makas with this muslin bag though.
