Kavafied Supreme - Smells like Almond

I just got some Kavafied Supreme. It seems to have a weird, quite almond like smell though, and it had a few slightly damp clumps in it. Is this normal? And is it safe to drink?

Edit: On reflection, I think it is just possible that what I'm talking for an almond smell is just a really peppery one.

hmm the almondy smell and dampness is interesting. Id be more concerned about dampness. Id take some pics and send it off to their csr. Maybe they'll just replace it. mold can grow pretty fast in that warm moist environment during shipping.

Thanks. I ended up drinking it and it seemed to work fine, plus no food poisoning or anything.
