What stood out to me after opening the bag and preparing the kava, was its distinct smell of lemon. Upon tasting it, i was surprised by how creamy and milky the flavour was.
As for effects - no body buzz and no drifting away.. I stayed rather clear headed and just felt a powerful force in my head, behind my eyes. Also felt very confident, almost cocky and more aggressive. While walking, it was as if only my heads exist and the legs can't be felt in contrast. As if they belong to a puppet. After the effects subsided, i felt rather agitated and tired at the same time.
All in all, the effects were quite one-dimensional but still quite a unique Kava experience for me. This is not a Kava i personally would drink regularly. Still, it achieves a certain effect very well and that effect is very pure.
