Kneading Kava

What's the best and most cost effective way to knead kava? I bought some GWK med grind and I've never kneaded either.

Is there like an instructional video as well? I don't wanna use pantyhose I'd rather buy something from like walmart or dollar store.

All you do is get some gloves (essential) the non latex ones from something like a harbor freight... if you knead with bare hands your hands will dry up like california.
Then you just place the kava in the strainer (nylon paint strainer works) and start rubbing the bag with your fingers and you feel the oils so you know what your doing is or isn't working. Once you do it you'll see how easy it is

In a pinch you can go to Lowes or Home Depot and buy a one gallon pain strainer bag. They are tough but the micron size is a little too big for fine straining but this can be remedied by using kitchen strainers after prep is done.
Hit up youtube there are some vids of people like Chris from GHK showing how to prep kava. Not hard to do and you will get good at it in a few sessions.

Nut milk bags are my favorite strainers but you have to order them unless there are some cool stores in your neck of the woods. They have small micron size, are see through, and very strong. They let less particles through than paint strainers but I still do final strains with normal kitchen liquid strainers.

I prefer to let the silt through more cause I feel like it makes it more potent! Lol

I received my kava today and had knee high panty hose handy, I only used one as it seemed to strain just fine and only allowed some sediment to pass through but extremely little.

First experience with GWK and Hanakapi'Ai and I definitely recommend everyone try before his stock runs out as it's only a limited supply. It was a pleasant experience after a long day, would recommend to everyone.
