Lava-lavas

It's true, I ordered three, of the most masculine possible design, although I did pass up on the naked mermaid design, that was a little TOO ex-sailor manly man.  At the other end of the spectrum, the Unicorns were way too Ren Fen if you know what I mean.  Technically, they are sarongs, being of Indonesian design, but as I understand it the design is similar.  I might chicken out and just give them to my wife and make up a story how come they look kind of manly if I really got them for her.  All that's missing is a machete and a giant wooden Moko-Tiki in the front yard glaring at our noisy neighbors.  Better to do something a little crazy than to live a completely boring life.

My daughter said, "You're a hippie, but at least you're just a hippie who drinks weird tea and not like a vegan PETA hippie."

My wife covets my lava-lavas she was wearing one this morning. For $11-12 each they're very nice, hand made batik sarongs from Indonesia from Curious Designs, they had the best options for masculine prints. Turtle Island Imports was another brand that looks promising.

That might be something to try for our warm summers down here! Thanks for listing the company names and the prices. I can hardly wait to see the neighbors faces when I go out to tend the chickens in duck boots and a lava-lava in the morning.
