Today is the last day (I think ) that I'll need to take my heavy pain meds for this broken ankle so hopefully I'll be able to partake in a little myself tomorrow!
I'm grateful for the relief it brings but I'm not a fan of taking it, ya know?

Got a batch of Kava Society of New Zealand Palarusal chilling in the fridge for later. Last time I made a batch the taste (is that a hint of cocoa?) kept me drinking well beyond my normal stopping point. Need to show a little more restraint this time (or maybe not....).

First nice week in awhile and first day I get 10 stitches in my leg.. Almost healed now but damn it hurt. The kava tho was the only pain reliever needed

Working again this weekend! Today I was having the dish room to myself, and it was slamming so I had to decide what would be okay to save for after closing and locate it in a corner to return to later on. I impressed myself a little bit with keeping up nonetheless. I'm hungry for a fine pea soup dinner, yet my shells are calling. I understand light fasting is a great way to begin a kava ceremony.
