Level or Heaping Tablespoons?

Heaping. The closer a single tablespoon gets to two tablespoons the better.

Pretty much as large of an amount as I can fit on the spoon without it falling everywhere. I don't even know how to quantify my technique for making grog anymore. Just 6-8 huge ass scoops of kava, which is likely between 1/2-3/4 cup and coconut water/water soy lecithin.

I use a 55 gram tin to measure out my nightly kava. It's the tin that Nakamal At Home uses for the smallest size of their instant.

Personal preference.

I take a spoon-full and then tap it with my finger to shake off excess. It's not level but it's not a heap either.

I'm leaning towards heaping though.

You know even if it is supposed to be a level teaspoon, you're going to use a heaping teaspoon anyway! (Wink02)
At least that's been my experience.
Also somehow one gram of Paradise extract becomes closer to two grams! I personally don't feel guilty about overindulging, but be careful if you're going to be driving.

Krunkedout: 12-14 oz. Usually brews down after kneading to about 1 cup of thick paint, and I do love my paint!

Now, when it comes to instant, I do use level teaspoons, often from a measuring set.
