I haven't had good waka in a while. I'm not always a Fiji fan but I have been known to enjoy the social and euphoric effects of waka from time to time. This one was a tad less energetic than other wakas, but it's also very clean and totally noble as a tradeoff. Other wakas I've tried leave me with more side effects. I enjoy this mixed with hawaiian kava to add to the heady effects.
In conclusion, i'm not a licensed waktologist, but I do believe this is a good fijian offering and brings diversity and positive cultivar relations to my kava sessions instead of being completely under the control of an aggressively dominant hawaiian/vanuatu regime.
