So me and 3 others have been drinking for the last 4 hrs. Started out witha half gallon of boroguru 10 tablespoons followed by a second brew with half the water, then a gallon of chiefs 2 cups root followed by a second brew with a third the water, then 10 cups to 8 tabl fu'u 3 boroguru and 2 Fijian, followed by a second brew with half the water. Went ham tonight. Lolz anybody else ever just keep making more and more like this. To be honest I am not the one that wanted to keep goin and going . I just have a hard time turning down kava.

oh and i actually started the night with 2 tbls and 2 cups fijian before everyone came over. i did maintian a solid krunk all night but i slowed down while everyone else lapped me (i am well through my rt while everyone else is still early in thiers) because a few times i began to get overly krunk. i kept nodding off. it was a great time by far the krunkest i have been so far.

Man, you and your 1 month RT story is about all that keeps me going at this point, i'm on like 11 days daily drinking (yesterday drank a whole cup of Fiji Waka in 3-4 cups H2o). Yet to have anything that is for certain not placebo. At this point i'm gonna run out of 2 pounds and not get a single krunk and then who knows if I'll get anymore.



Also I have noticed I get a nasty itch on the back of my knee when I have a lot of Kava. Pretty sure it's related... maybe this stuffs just not for me.



Anyway sorry to bomb on your good-vibes post but you seem to be one of the only ones who went thru what I am so just venting to someone who may understand...

trust me, many have suffured as we have. you are drinking on an empty stomach right? because that makes a huge difference. and what are you using to strain with? make sure you are soaking your root prior to kneading the shyt out of it for a solid 5-10 minutes. i usaully hit it with the stick blender and then let it soak the again before straining and kneading, but this is a preference not a must, also make a second batch with the same root and half the water this will help you get you kavalactones and conserve your stash. (oh yeah and on a side note nowadays depending on the strain it only takes me 2-4 tbls to 2 cups water to get a good krunk going.) it does really help also to actually try and take other measures to try and relax; chill out, kick back, put on some feel good music, i really enjoy getting on here reading posts while drinking. good luck in your journey with this magical root.

c double, the itching could be from dry skin. kava is a diuretic and drys u out. my skin gets crazy dry and my legs itch, i got to use lotion and drink lots of water.
