Kava King's instant(micronized) is cheap and pretty darn good. Otherwise I just buy medium grind and get my prep on.

I know, I mean I don't know LOL. You just mix it and drink it and it makes you visit Numbville.
The Kava that kava king has is micronized root, makas and all, ground to a fine powder. All true instant kava is made using fresh undried root. instant kava has no makas and my micronized has no makas. I hope this helps to clear things up. Aloha.

Yeah I knew the Kava King is micronized but was just mentioning a fast prep method kava for newcomer RT and they mistakenly label it Instant so I wanted to put micronized in parenthesis and still call it what they call it. Nothing confusing about it, lol.

Instant is a hassle to manufacture because you make a big vat of Grog and then slowly evaporate the liquid and then scrap off the left over particles/powder. But it's great in a Kava Kooler! 
Maybe a weekend treat. I mix it (2 doses/tabs) with Ginger Ale, Lime and Ice on the weekend and sip it by the patio. On the weekdays, I just drop a tablespoon of maca-less GHK Micronized in a small plastic Dixie cup with plain water and down the hatch. That's the spartan bare bones way to put down micronized but no fuss or muss and yer done in 30 seconds and back to work. You will need a chop stick to stir it because a spoon will make the small dixie cup overflow or tip over. I also use those chop wooden skewers to stir the coffee in my Fresh Press on the weekends. They have lots of applications including Shish Kabob which is how they were meant to be used in the first place.

I only used one tablespoon per 8 ounces and only drank a second wash 8oz and first wash 8oz at first and ate dinner not too long after so I didn't have a heavy amount but still felt nice. Some heady but felt a little warmth in my body and muscles loosening. I had another 8 ounces and got the effects to heighten more. I will really give it a good empty belly test ride this weekend. I don't care for sedating kavas so it was fun to find a body kava that still had some heady which I love. Gives me more a full body experience than heady kava does.
Chris .. (newbie question )if I buy the Micronized instead of instant can i just drink it or do i need to strain it? and is micronized gonna be stronger?

@lpnlady, if you want to address chris, do this: @Gourmet Hawaiian Kava.
Micronized is stronger than instant (in my opinion) and you don't strain it. And you don't strain it because @Gourmet Hawaiian Kava has a special process to remove the Macas from the Kava. Macas are stringy root fibers that don't have any Kavalactones in them. They can in fact cause stomach discomfort.
