Powdered Kava Review Nambawan

BULA!
First off, I used two nylon stockings to strain (because of dermopathy concerns). I've noted this decreases the potency significantly.... Anyways

The taste of this is so incredibly mild, the texture was thick and oily (due in part to using so lecithin which is fatty) and is very reminiscent of milk. Did I say the taste was mild yet? The smell and appearance seemed to call out "FRESH" but I haven't had any frozen kava or real fresh root so I cant say that with certainty.

Because this Kava seems so oily, I did a 2nd wash (moisten the relatively dry kava with hot water and then knead for a minute or two and squeeze out as much as I could). The 2nd wash was potent too! There still seemed to be some moisture, very oily so I decided to do a quick 3rd wash with hot water again. Definitely some oils on the top, but only ~10% of the first wash. All 3 washes were consumed within 15 minutes.

I knew this was high in Kavain, but the numbing effect on the mouth is extremely pronounced and lasting pretty long.

The effects seem to be mainly in the mind, not much bodily effects although there is some of that weakness that I always associate with muscle relaxation, but not as much as say, Boroguru. I wouldnt call this a strongly euphoric kava, but rather strong content feelings appear quickly. The anxiety I had was just slowly washed away, in a pleasant and and subtle way. This didnt knock me over the head or anything, just a slow progression of mental relaxation and tranquilness. Im quite content to sit on my couch and listen to some music. This is definitely not what I would call a "social kava" because the mental effects are more of a sedative nature rather than stimulating; (kavas arent stimulating like coffee but some can be a little energizing).

Another note, this creeps up on you in an unexpected way. It seems that the effects peak around 45 mins after consumption, but in a very subtle way as I described above.

I highly recommend this for people with anxiety. The price is a bit steep compared to others, but the effects are unmatched in my experience.

Overall: Very tranquil and mentally sedating without causing any loss of motor control or anything like that. "Euphoria" is not how I would describe it, but it definitely puts you in a very nice mood.

Awesome review! I think it was taste that stood out for me the most. It's the most ridiculously mild tasting but potent dry kava I've had.

I am in love with Nambawan, just feels perfect to me. I am curious if you have tried any of PK's kava?

Also, you drank 2 cups of strong kava within 15 minutes?! impressive! I would drink that amount over the course of a day and even that may be too much:p
