Hey guys,



Just made my first purchase of good kava from Paradise Kava. I ordered a reusuable strainer bag, 1 pound AWA root, and 10g of the co2 extract. I was wondering about how quick it will get here for shipping to the Midwest area of the states? I have gone through about 1 pound of kava root before but didnt get much of anything but a nasty taste in my mouth and some numbness. I think this was due to the reverse tolerance and a bad product. What can i expect in terms of feelings from this plant, i am hoping to use it to cut down on drinking and the use of other substances. Thanks for all of the help you have already given me just by reading through the community post.

It varies from person to person. Paradise Awa is a well rounded kava. It's not too heavy in any one way but overall is pretty solid. In my opinion Paradise Awa is a luxury kava that you'd use to enjoy kava just for the simple pleasure of enjoying kava. It's one of the best you can get so hopefully it works for you.

Yes I second exactly what belts is saying. My fav by far and the taste is the best I've come by.

I'm giving it a try for the same reasons as you are. Just ordered some of the extract from Paradise. Trying to figure out this reverse tolerance thing. Should I order a pound of the AWA powder and try it before using the extract or does it make a difference? All advice to a newbie is appreciated.
