New Kava Guy... Possible Drink Blends??

Hey all! I have been doing a bunch of research on kava for the past couple weeks. I remember reading about it in "Getting Stoned with Savages" a few years back. I finally ordered some Koniak Kava Powder from BKH. I have a couple of questions that I hope you all could provide some insight:

Why are there no good commercial kava drinks on the market? Is it the cost? Ability to make a drink taste good for the masses?

Has anyone made any kava drinks combining any herbs or natural juice from a lemon or lime?

First of all WELCOME! Glad to have you here with us.

I believe the answer to your first question is a mixture of both cost, and taste. Have you tried Kalm with Kava? Their prepared drink tastes great and also works great.

As for your second question I'm afraid I have no experience with, but I'm sure there are plenty of people here to expound on that

Snapple made a drink many years ago called Moon, and it had kava in it. It was my first time trying kava anything, and while I did not think it tasted bad, I do not recall it tasting amazing either. On that note, it also did not provide any noticeable effect.
