What I thought might have been root skin/contamination is micro-particles of lactones!  The ONLY drawback is, it is so oily, the particles seem to stick together and sink...  so you really gotta enjoy shortly after stirring. (Small price to pay.) Even the outside of my lips were numb long after tossing it back, yet a taste as smooth as the Malekula Magic.

Might I add, as I probably have before,my favorite way to do instants is to stir a tsp. into a squeezed shell.  There seems to be a beautiful synergy.Look forward to raising a shell with you folks soon!

Edit: First impressions
Just drank 1.5 tablespoons (or about half the package) in about 3 or 4 oz of water. I used a latte frother to stir in the instant. It's got a potent smell. Taste is nothing. Quite literally the mildest instant I've tasted. Waiting on effects. I will post back with an edit when they become apparent.

I guess I should have drank the entire 10 gram bag in one sitting. Very minimal effects off 1.5 tablespoons. It's definitely kava, but I feel I didn't ingest enough to get the full range of effects. Maybe another day.

Well I received my QK a few days ago along with some of the kava resin. I wasn't sure how much to use of the QK so I used 2 teaspoons and was feeling it pretty good more than I expected within a few minutes. After 15-20 minutes I did some more, 1 teaspoon, then ate my dinner. I was in a good mood for the rest of the night and slept great.


To compare it potency wise I would say that it is similar in strength to the instant green from BKH although the instant green tends to make me a little more sleepy feeling. It has been awhile since I have had the Fire Island from N@H but I do not remember it being very strong. I would purchase this as long as the price is right. I still have some left to do some more experimenting with.


I have a question regarding the kava resin... What is a good dose to start out with and what is the best way to take it?
