New to Kava

hey everyone Iam new to the forum and kava. Iam really liking the effects of The kava so far I got the black sand kava for my first bag. The taste doesnt bother me too much but the texture does. The grittiness really bothers me. Is the any suggestions in dealing with this?

Go get some knee-hi women's nylons. You can get them for around .50 cents to a $1.00 a pair. Use those as a strainer bag. They're very fine and actually pretty durable for being cheap nylons. Works good for making a smooth kava drink. It's worked great for me so far.

The Nakamal at Home strainer bag I use works great with the grind of their kava but not with the finer ground powder like Kava By Rex. Definitely use the nylon stocking strainer suggested by Vekta.

Ive been using the nakamal strainer... I guess i will have to get my girlfriend to the store to get some nylons
