New user; justed ordered from Bula

I looked around for 6+ hours on different Kavas, but finally just decided to order some from Bula.
I was looking for something strong, but after reading so many reviews it seems it varies a lot batch to batch and user to user.

This was my order:
1x Strainer Bags for $2.50 each

1x 1/4 Kilo (.55 lb.) Boroguru Kava Root for $16.00 each
Total: $24.50 USD (Shipping was only $6.)

I was wondering if this will start me out alright. The strainer bags looked small for the price.
If anyone can give me info on this kind of kava; I'd greatly appreciate it.
I get bad, completely illogical anxiety in public. I know I have to reason to have it, it's just there. Causes me to tense up and be sweaty. (smiley: sick)
I figured I should try something strong and cheap.
I've used anti-anxiety meds before and found the effects to be short lived/quick tolerance over a few days(no matter how many I used).

I'm sleepy and rambling intolerantly. I'll be on to check this thread tomorrow if anyone has tips.

My review of the kava you bought was actually put up on the BKH website not too long ago. It's probably easier to find on BKH than it is here. I don't think I remembered to put a tag on that post.
Any good quality kava is a good start for a new user and Judd definitely sells a good kava in the Boroguru. I haven't tried any of the other ones but they have also received very good reviews from other members.

BKH has very fast shipping times, I live in New Hampshire basically out in the boonies and I always get my order in a few days once it 48 hours!
I think you made a good call with the boroguro,  I've actually bought a kg of that over the past few months. Boroguro has a nice amount of DHM in
it and has a nice effect on the body and is quite sedating. I aslo reccomend you check out the Fu'u as that has a low DHM level and a very high kavain
level, it's good to try and find the sweet spot for which kavalactones appeal to you and it's cool to make blends.
One suggestion I have with the boroguro is to allow it to soak for 90 minutes to a couple hours. It has a coarse grind and soaking allows it to bleed out
the kavalactones. Just knead it and squeeze it as hard as you can without ripping the bag, knead and squeeze for while as that kava has alot of juice to
give.

It took just over a week for them to deliver to Ireland so they're pretty speedy

Hey nihilist, I'm like in  the EXACT position as you heha. I have horrible anxiety in public as well and just came of benzos (hell) and just ordered some Boroguru myself. I hope it works for the both of us!!! I'll write a review as well after I down some. BULA!
