hmmm, I can't get krunk on Chief's. I tried and tried, shell after shell. I really want to, I mean a 'weekend' use only kava should not allow me to walk straight, see straight, right? At least it should get my head in the clouds like van3 , stone or solomon?

I only drink alcohol once in a blue moon, and New Year's Eve is one of those blue moons.



Kava is more of an indoor or at-the-beach-at-night activity. Which I'm usually more inclined to doing.



Booze is bad stuff. The worst. If they want to find what's causing liver damage that's where they need to look.

well, if I'm lucky, I might go to a DSO concert (grateful dead) and see pretty colors :) , just kidding. If I don't go, I probably won't be making kava and instead pig out on shrimp cocktail with the family.

It depends where I am or who's over the house. If I'm out somewhere I probably won't get to have any kava. If I'm home I might break out the Chief's Jungle.

I love a good beer and haven't had any since I've been taking kava so looking forward to it. Hoping one of the bars we end up at has some decent microbrews. dogfish head IPA. *drools*

I'm about halfway through a combination of Hawaiian Kava Center Hiwa and Kava By Rex Van3. What a mix! I swear I can feel tropical trade winds gently lifting my body and rocking me in a hammock. Raising a shell to all! Here's to more great kava in 2011!

Good choice my sir! WoW kava was made for times like this :D. My friend came over so im making a batch of chief jungle, I wanted some anyway to top this off!

I can honestly say ive never been this krunked... and no stomach pain which is a weird thing but good. But I can say chief jungle has nothing on wow. wow is probably some of the best of the best, I loveeee it! HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE

I had way too much to drink. I think maybe the kava has made me more sensitive to alcohol because usually I have a very high tolerance. Could also be that the drinks I ordered had a higher alcohol content than other people's. Shouldn't have gone for the absinthe, or that last shot of tequila, or um, anything at the second and last bar we went to. The shot and margerita at the first place was enough. Blacked out. Apparently I was vomiting on myself outside of the bar. My fiance was able to get me home where I continued to vomit. First time getting alcohol poisoning. Good thing is I vomited up so much that I barely have a hangover. Won't be doing that again. Maybe I'll plan a dry NYE for next year, or a kava party.

Yes that is true. I just personally dont like the whole "I cant control what im doing" part of alcohol. Kava gives off the loosening and euphoria of alcohol, without the blackouts, saying stupid stuff and getting socked in the face, and most importantly, the hangover. I woke up today feeling damn good and I had quite a bit of kava last night..

I had so much KBR Tongan over the last three days... oh my goodness. I've never had stomach issues with Tongan kava before, but I must have drunk a gallon over the course of three days. I also got pretty wasted when I ran out and started dissolving the Vanuatu Kava Store premium kava. I made myself an emergency thermos of KBR Isa, but didn't drink it. I guess I should fish it out of the trunk now that I'm back at Buckingham.
