Anyone fluent care to make a translation for us? I think what's happened is they've identified and burnt another batch of kava for export that failed some sort of test, but I don't exactly know.

Quarantine on Santo burned 500 kilos of dry kava that some kava buyer bought and was ready to export, but they found out it was wild kava that's really no good for export overseas.

An appeal to farmers: don't do this kind of stuff! It's ruining the kava export business. Recently we saw they were burning kava for the same reason in Port Vila, because it wasn't the right variety for export.
