First off, wow this is some nasty tasting stuff. In fact, though it pains me to admit it, I couldn't keep my first drink of it down for more than 30 seconds, which is very rare for me. I ate a small meal and drank the rest (so probably about 40g worth total).
Taste aside, this is some nice kava. You get that initial kavain-y rush that tapers off into a general sense of peace and some, though not extreme, muscle relaxation. Very well balanced. According to the Noble Kava website, this is a kava you drink and then sit under a tree rather than a social one, and I can agree with that. It was all I could do to pay attention to the last few minutes of a basketball game before sitting back in my chair and halfheartedly reading for a few hours before I totally conked out.
I would put this down as a more potent kava considering that, in the end, I consumed less than my normal dose of kava, and still got everything I was looking for.
