That was great watch, thanks for posting. I appreciate how these guys, Ed, Chris, Jerry etc...basically turned the Big Island into a nature reserve for all the old 'awa cultivars.
With their work and knowledge, they've given a new generation a good head-start in keeping it going, now you've got some young local guys helping, and well-intentioned mainlanders like Mike & Morgan starting the new Pu'Iwa farm. The future of Hawaiian/US based 'awa seems to be in good hands.

I've always hoped that someday I could help by acquiring some good kava cuttings from other pacific islands and bringing them to you Big Island guys to start propagating.
