Bula, all! We did a late night kava ceremony and that was a great time, considering I had received a pound of kava in the mail yesterday.
I suppose I am one of the few people who consistently drinks waka. I find it balanced. I brewed 70g roots with 1250ml water and drank most of it, saving a shell for today by a happy accident. I meant to finish all the kava however a breakfast / lunch time shell does sound good to me, on this dark rainy day as I go from home to bank, bank to store, store to store and then to home to get off to work. A banana is good nutrients and fruit pairs well with kava. I still have some tree pears and apples that I picked too. I need a juicer in my life. I used to eat fruit very frequently and over the past year I have stopped. Fresh presssd juice I will drink immediately.
What is new everybody? How are you all? The work weekend ought be restorative for me, last week was nuttier than squirrel turds at Roseanne Barr's macadamia farm. Especially Monday, whoo hoo! I am positive I will find work more enjoyable tonight and this weekend. We like it a little busy. When it gets so busy that disorganization occurs, the consensus on who likes it tends to shift from the "everyone" end of the spectrum to the "no one" side really quickly. That is part of my responsibility, to maintain order and organization. I failed because I wasn't there early enough Monday when the place was getting circusy, so the acrobats had no ring leader and the structure was a challenge to restore afterwards.
The question of whether I may brew a shell for work comes to mind. Will I be able to drink a shell at work tonight and still have enough kava for my days off?
This Tuesday my friend and I are getting together to drink a lot of kava. I will be making meatloaf with spicy peppers as well. I look forward to it!
By the way the last batch of Squanch plus this one seem really strong, fresh smell too. Reminds me of jalepeno skin.
Malok all, enjoy your shells!
