Oily face?

Anyone else notice that their skin gets oilier when drinking kava? Any idea why that might be?

I've not noticed this. I wonder if there is a relationship to dermopathy.

Always the opposite for me. I put the greasiest lotion on my face every morning after kava....which is every morning.

Same with Kapmcrunk. I'm a brown person (half black half white) and I get ashier than a mug the day after some kava.


I have a feeling that kava is a detox herb. Water loss, lowered appetite. And maybe just possibly elimination of extra fats and oils?

Could be. It's not the day after but during the session that I get oily. I always found that odd.

Kava Kava is making me detox like a demon. It's almost too much.

I have dry skin with or without kava. A tad bit of oil might do me some good. I'm the opposite to...and it's annoying. It's the cause of my eye problems according to the doc.

I've read where dry skin is a common side effect of using kava.

It's always the opposite for me to. I get very dry skin from kava & it always starts on my face. Hands & feet are next. Always been so for 15 years.
