One kava of the day, please!

My kava of the day today, is a blend of boroguru and nambawan. 4 tablespoons B and 3 tablespoons N with 2 teaspoons soy lecithin. This to me tastes really good, very easy to drink, I think the nambawan adds a sort of nutty flavor to it that makes it a bit less bitter on the pallet. I havnt finished the bowl yet, but man I feel good. These two kavas were a match made in heaven. You have a hard hitting DHM and a hard hitting kavain that smash together to form something spectacular. Well balanced taste, great effects. This really just puts me in a great place, makes me want to sit on a beach at night and just watch nature and ponder on some of the great questions of life. This is a great kava for thinkers!

Also, a word on the shells from bula kava house. I really like these, they are perfect for me because they hold a large amount so I don't have to keep going back and for to and from the bowl. They have a great feel in your hand, almost like a wine glass. An when you drink from it you feel transported to Vanuatu or tongs or any other south pacific island.

I like this thread Krunked out! Like a "WHAT ARE YOU DRINKING TODAY?" kinda thing. Good job~!

Kava of the day - A few Hawaiian chocolate, coffee and kava kisses (we put them in Hershey's kisses molds) .

A prototype is designed for those days when I wake up anxious.

The coffee and cacao add a nice perk up and the kava has a lovely leveling effect. Formulated after my good buddy John's idea of chasing a giant bowl of kava with a small Italian Espresso. At first, I resisted the idea. After trying it, I'm in love with this combo.

And the kisses? Kinda impressive so far, needs more kava and more coffee :)

...on the shelf as one the releases we are working on.

Coffee and kava eh? Well whatever works I guess! The chocolate sounds great though, mmmm kava chocolate! Do you find that the coffee and kava cancel each other out at all? I had heard that people get headaches from mixing the two. But I've always been sort of a purist with kava, but If they do go together nicely then I may have to try that someday!

tonight my grog will be the same, nabawan and boroguru. However, i will be switching the ratios, it will be 4 tablespoons nabawan to 2 tablespoons boroguru. it will definitely be a nice little treat for when i get home from work!

Yeah, great thread idea.

Currently halfway through my 2tbsp brew of Nambawan and feeling very relaxed.  Usually I blend my varieties, too, but thought I'd zero in on a single strain today.  After reading the current "session" thread, I'm also spacing my cups out for the first time (rather than gulping it all down at once), though this generates hella kava anxiety with my later cups.

I usually drink just one strain, but this will help me make my Nabawan last a bit longer, because if I drink it on its own I'll end up using like 6 tablespoons. Also, these strains just mix so perfectly. Have you noticed that the Nabawan smells almost exactly like the Vanuatu instant green?

Well since I'm all out of black bag now, tonight's strain will be a 6 tablespoon batch of chilled boroguru. What are you all drinking on this fine eve?

Dr. Pepper, but tonight it's the old faithful combo. A 1/2 tablespoon of Paradise kava coconut/vanilla extract and 1 cup stone to 12 oz water. Squeeze, strain, drink, repeat.

I made a brutal grog today with: 1/4 cup boroguro, 1/4 cup tudei, 1/4 cup van3 and a fat 2+ tablespoons of nambawen. Mixed that up with a tablespoon of soy lectin disolved in 1 cup hot water and added a cool can of coconut water and let it sit for hour before blending for 5 minutes and kneading for 20. Downed the whole 24 oz of grog in less than an hour and was totally debiltated for the next few hours. I think I'll make a second wash in the morning and then the mailman will be bringing: stone, chiefs and wow.

I like your style. I think I may have to make a similar grog this weekend.

I did up my second wash of yesterday's Spartan batch and even that floored me. I then followed it up with 1/4 cup of wow, which is a really light and pleasant tasting kava. That totally kicked my ass...
