Kava Enthusiast
I am three weeks or so into the kava game. I figured out earlier on that less is more for me. Tonight, I had a drink consisting of two teaspoons of papa kea, the last two teaspoons in the bag. I followed that with the same amount of pouni ono, all micro. I feel good from the neck down. I do like this feeling before bed but I remain jealous of those describing euphoria. I think the strength of papa kea is a big deal for me. Stacking something a bit energetic on top of it is working for now. I realize that I am using less than others. I tried using more with less/fewer results, not to mention that I can't do those hangovers. A new person should know that kava doesn't mean no hangovers. It just means no alcohol hangovers. This means that you will be mostly functional at work but you will want and look forward to your 530PM nap, I assure you. At the moment, I just hope that these light effects turn into heavier effects at some point. At three weeks in, my expectations are low. For anyone else new, I suggest to read the reviews with an open mind, one with low expectations. What will come will come. When talking about amounts, consider both nausea and hangovers, both more memorable than a few hours of nice effects. Reverse tolerance is annoying but it can be a good thing too. Don't worry about the cups of root that others seem to need and manage. Worry about your own situation. I hope to figure my own out soon.
