Paradise Kava's Fijian Review is Up!

In our search to find more of our favorite South Fijian Kava, a small sample of this 100% lateral batch baggie was sent to us from Fiji.
We opened it in Hawaii and just based on smell alone, we knew this was the one.
The taste takes top points in my book for a powder, any powder (yes, even Hawaiian)
As The Kavasseur put it "When I brewed this Kava for the first time I found myself sipping my coconut shell like it was full of rare Irish whiskey or cognac."
There is something amazing and wonderful about the aroma, taste and the subtle yet powerful creeping flavor of this South Fijian Kava which is not found in ISA (terrible tasting in comparison) or even the euphoric Hawaiian batches (except Fresh Frozen Hawaiian Kava will is still better in taste and effect than the Fijian, by miles, in my book.)

Paradise Kava - Premium Fijian
Ok before I start, I have a confession to make. I love Paradise Kava products. I know they grow their own Kavas and cultivate and care for their own product with great attention, because of this I was a little hesitant purchasing a Kava not from their local producing area. Big MISTAKE! I should have known better! These guys are true Kava connoisseurs, and would never sell an inferior item.
First thing you notice upon opening the vacuum sealed bag is the wonderful fresh earthy aroma that comes at you, the aroma of a Vanuatu Kava was the first thing that came to mind (sorry Fiji guys).
I don't know how they kept this Kava so fresh but whatever they did good job fellas. The grind of this Kava is wonderfully fine there is no evidence of any shards of root and therefore you will not have to worry about those irritating broken straining bags, for all those guys like me who use a pantihose strainer this a a good thing, the less time I have to buy new pantihose in the supermarket the better!!
Straining this Kava is a dream, the Kavalactone particles freely flow due to the fine grind, and before you know it you have a brew ready to drink.
Now to taste! This kava tastes great! If you like a smooth earthy brew with slightly grassy after notes. you will love this brew. The instant numb tongue effect gives the hint that this Kava is fairly high in Kavain, and that a a relaxed body is soon to follow. About 3 shells later I was surprised to notice a very nice euphoric feeling in in my head and a very surprising sensitivity to light. This is one seriously well balances Kava, and would make a great introduction to someone new to the brew. After 5 shells I was done an oh so happy with my premium Paradise Kava experience. The guys at Paradise hint that this is a good weekday Kava, sorry guys I don't agree, this Kava is strictly weekend for me, not so much because of its strength but more simply because this Kava is special. Paradise Fiji should be savoured with friends and loved ones, not just hanging in front of the television on a wednesday night.
Now for the drawback, yes you know there is always something! This brew is pricey, lets be honest, Paradise Kava a little on the expensive side, all I can say is………Its WORTH IT! save your pennies, this a quality Kava! It's Special, and it is one of the few Kavas out there that is 100% Lateral roots! that basically means they use only the best a most potent part of the Kava root ball. Trust me, that is worth the money!
Good Job Paradise Guys, please order your next batch now so you never run out, and if you are going to buy some after reading this review, then please save some for me!

First time post from a kava newb here. This Fijian kava was my very first so I have nothing to compare it to but great nonetheless!!
It took five or six batches to finally get over the reverse tolerance and feel the effects but I finally got there.
A lovely sweet warmth in the limbs coupled with a lovely lightness of mood. I look forward to trying some more of Paradise kava's products.
