Tetepare island, in Western Province, Solomon Islands, is the largest uninhabited island in the South Pacific. The descendants of Tetepare people live on nearby Rendova now.

There's a person on reddit who grew up on Rendova, and she's got some stories and photos:

Rendova island also happens to be where John F. Kennedy's torpedo boat, PT-109, was based before it got sank... though the PT boat base was up on the north end of Rendova, not down south next to Tetepare.

(Kiai video)
I looked up where Kiai is located out of curiosity. Kiai is the the tok peles word for their language, though some sources such as Ethnologue list it as "Fortsenal," named after a village.

The Kiai-speaking area is highlighted here, on Alex Francois' map. They're about as middle of the middle bush as you can get! Pretty cool.
