I obtained a sample pack of some Kalm with Kava micronized kava. I just polished off a 2.2oz jar of micronized Pouni Ono.
I found the micronized grind to be very fine and clean. It was very smooth with no grittiness what so ever to it while drinking. There were no large chunks of sediment that I find in some other micronized products. So he is either using a great grinder or has a nice filtering process.
It was one of the smoother bitterless products I've used. It was very easy to drink and along with the Concentrate almost pleasurable.
The effects at first seemed a little weak, but it seemed to get stronger the more I got to the end of my jar. That happens to me sometimes when I'm trying a new product for the first time, because I'm not sure what to expect.
It was heavier than I like for a daytime kava, but I would definitely use this as an evening drink. It really mellows without kocking you to sleep. So I probably would not use this if sleepy time is the goal.
Overall I really liked this product and would highlly recommend it.
