Prilosec and Kava

Forgive me if this has been discussed before. I did look, but maybe overlooked it. Does anyone know if Prilosec and Kava could be a bad combo on your liver? I've searched the internet and couldn't find much more than Prilosec by itself can possibly wreak havoc on your liver.
I've been on daily Prilosec or other PPI for 15 years or better and will be trying Kava for the first time this week. Just was wondering if anyone who does the two together has had any issues? Short or long term. Thanks

I've taken omeprazole for about 8 years concurrently with kava. I would say I was pretty susceptible to dermapothy during those times, but it could also have been the quality of kava I was consuming during the time as well.

In my own personal experience I found I didn't have any complications between the two, but since they may share metabolic pathways you may experience a marked increase in the strength of the kava, so take it slow
