As the title states, I'm looking for recommendations for a potent kava. I've tried several from N@H: Black Sand, Stone, Wow!, Chief's Jungle, Black Sand, and "Hiwa" from Hawaiian Kava Center. I'm pretty sure there were a few others along the way that I'm forgetting. Anyway, the only ones that had any effect on me (preparing them the traditional way, and probably pretty strong by most kava drinkers' standards) were Stone and Wow. Unfortunately Wow is out of stock right now, and Stone usually makes me feel pretty sick. Almost forgot - I've also had decent results from N@H's Shaman Instant kava. However, it's expensive and I have to use quite a bit to feel the effects which usually wear off fairly quickly.
So with that said - can any of you make some recommendations? I don't want to blindly drop $20+ on what might as well be a bag of mulch.
